Spend a full day offshore with Captain Nate on this 8-hour bottom fishing and pelagic adventure in the deep waters off Panama City Beach. Born and raised in the Florida Panhandle, Captain Nate has been fishing the Gulf of Mexico since he could hold a rod. With years of experience, and knowledge passed down from local captains and his grandfather, plus his background as a firefighter/paramedic with Panama City Beach Fire Rescue, you’ll be in good hands for a safe and exciting day on the water.

This trip gives you the flexibility to chase that bucket-list fish you’ve always dreamed of or target what’s biting best. Bottom fishing in federal waters can produce prized catches like Black, Gag, Red, and Scamp Grouper, along with Lane and Mangrove Snapper—favorites for both their fight and their fillets. If you’re ready for a workout, jigging and cut bait fishing over deep structure can produce some hefty hauls.

If you’d rather chase pelagic species, you can switch gears and troll or drift for Blackfin Tuna, Kingfish, Mahi Mahi, and even Sailfish. Sight casting to feeding schools or chasing topwater explosions makes for an exciting change of pace. Whether you’re looking for a mixed bag or want to zero in on a specific target, Captain Nate will help you make the most of your time offshore.

You’ll be fishing from a 2023 34’ Eastward catamaran powered by twin 300 HP Suzuki engines. This stable, smooth-riding boat is built for offshore fishing and fully equipped with livewells, an iPilot trolling motor, a fish box, and a Bluetooth sound system for your favorite music. There’s also a private porta-potty on board for your comfort during the trip.

Captain Nate provides all the rods, reels, tackle, and live bait you’ll need, and he’ll clean and bag your catch at the end of the day. Bring along your favorite snacks and drinks—beer is welcome, just no glass containers.

He’s been gaining experience over the years from various Captains and of course Grandpa himself! Captain Nate is a USCG licensed and insured charter captain. Awesome trip. Capt. Nathan knew exactly where to put us and deck hand Luke kept us rigged and fishing. We caught lots of fish and several different species. Was a real workout pulling in fish after fish. Guys where really knowledgeable of the area. Definitely plan to book with them again.

Captain Nate from the beginning asked a lot of questions about us and what our hopes were. He was extremely informative about what the conditions were, fish in season, and other tid-bits regarding our trip.
Heading out we encountered extremely heavy fog so it was a bit slow getting out where we needed to be. Once we got out where we needed to be it was absolutely beautiful and Captain Nate put us on a couple catches. We got Trigger, Red Snapper, a B-Liner, and some tropical looking fish.. Unfortunately we were only able to keep the B-Liner but our family thoroughly enjoyed the trip! Once we started making our way in we realized that there was a red Tide which hindered some of our fishing.
I will definitely book Captain Nate again on our next trip.

Nate and his mate were about as good as you can get. Kept me up on weather and water situations. Communication was the best I've had from any Capitan. Water was about as bad as it gets he safely got us out and back. Nathan can pilot a boat and can catch fish! I'll book for years to come.
