Join Captain Taylor for an offshore fishing adventure out of Destin, Florida, where you set the tone for the day and the Gulf provides the action. This trip is designed to give anglers flexibility, variety, and the opportunity to target some of the most sought-after species in the Gulf of Mexico.

Once offshore, Captain Taylor will work productive reefs, wrecks, and open-water structure depending on conditions and what is biting best. You may find yourself dropping down for hard-fighting Gag Grouper or big Amberjack around deep structure, or switching gears to target fast-moving pelagic species in the blue water. Blackfin Tuna and Sailfish are always exciting possibilities, and smaller Mahi Mahi can also make an appearance, adding even more variety to the day.

During Red Snapper season, this trip becomes even more productive. By running farther offshore, you gain access to deeper reefs and federal waters where larger Red Snapper are often found. These fish are known for their strong fight and excellent table quality, making them a highlight for many anglers visiting Destin.

One of the best parts of this trip is the flexibility to adapt throughout the day. Whether you want to focus on bottom fishing, trolling, or switching between techniques, Captain Taylor will adjust the approach based on conditions and your preferences to keep the action going.

You will be fishing with Captain Taylor upon a complete custom center console for the ultimate fishing experience. He has been fishing out of Destin with over 20 years of experience on the water. He started as a deckhand then worked up to his Captains License. He ran fishing charters for a company for a few years and then was able to get his own boat. He then started his current charter business in 2020. We offer close to shore/in shore charters, shark fishing and deep sea off shore for some more extreme game fishing. What’s the biggest fish you’ve caught?

At least a 345 pound grouper that was weighed. I have tagged and released big blue marlins so I wouldn't know the weight of those. As well as some tunas that were not weighed.

If you were cooking for all your friends what would you cook?

Cobia or Tuna. I have always loved searching for cobias and have always loved the meat as well as a little seared tuna.

How did you get started guiding?

I started working on tug boats very young and fishing out of Grand Isle with my grandparents. I always loved fishing and being out on the water. I have worked on tuna long line boats, tug boats, big yacht sport fishers, and some smaller boats. I always wanted to eventually become a captain and get my own boat so I could share my passion with others.

What makes you different from other guides?

Great with both kids and adults great humor! Very knowledgeable and hands on. I actually built my boat and made it a complete custom boat with all top notch tackle and equipment. We do not charge extra for live bait. I have worked very hard to get and be able to upkeep my boat to provide an amazing experience for my customers.

Parking is an extra cost you pay at the parking lot. Everything else is included all you need are drinks and snacks.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.
