About Your Trip

Our hunt will take place outside of Abilene, Texas Starting at 6:30 AM in the morning and ending around 11 AM to 11:30AM , but you will have your limit before then.
Our target Species are Sandhill Crane, Geese, and Ducks.
Clients will be Driven into the field unless it’s muddy in the field and it is wet, as well the clients will be shuttled out of the field after the hunt.
We have two different locations. We can hunt early season in Lubbock, Texas.
Or we can hunt in Abilene, Texas. From either of these premier territories, we can cross off world-class, waterfowl hunts, and check off your hunt list for Sandhill Crane, Geese and Ducks.
Our trip is different from the rest Becuase we are transparent with our clients and want them to feel like family when they hunt with us. But to top that off we strive to put them on a waterfowl hunt they will never forget.

Dawson was great at reading the weather changes we were having. Had a great A-frame blind built for us. His decoy spread and calling put the birds right in front of us and we all shot limits of sandhill cranes in about 2 hours.

A very challenging morning for Dawson and crew with freezing rain, snow, sleet, 30 to 32 degree temps, fog and they still managed to make it a fun experience for all of us hunters with them on Jan. 9, 2025. Birds stayed roosted til around 10:00 but then came in bringing some action which was fun and then entertaining to watch the crew chase down the downed birds in the slick clay mud! 🤣 7...

I had a wonderful experience hunting with Dawson and his crew on Wednesday January 8, 2025! We saw lots of birds, had 7 shot opportunities called if my memory is correct with anywhere from a lone bird to maybe 30 or 40 coming in. The total taken that morning was 21.
