You'll need to buy a hunting license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.

This trip is managed by an outfitter. Cody will be your point of contact and you will go out with one of their guides.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

The deposit for this trip is non-refundable except for weather-related cancellations. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

I actually went with Trey. I spoke with both, and they were nice guys, but the hunting trip was an absolute bust! I was told that there would definitely be some birds there, which I assumed was the spot was scouted. I was taking my little boy on his second ever hunt. I only had 1 dove come over and I had to make a miraculous shot just to get him! The spot was supposed to be a water hole, which I'm very experienced with in my 45 years of hunting doves. The water was not a water hole, but more like a group of ponds, which is more for waterfowl than dove. Dove need A (ONE) water hole so they come to that spot. Doves could have come in and drank their fill without even being in gun range! I know that doves are usually not as plentiful in the second part of the season, but I probably saw a total of maybe 8 in the vast area. One guy who was either hunting because it was his land, or a guide who wanted to hunt, but he was on the opposite side a good way away, and he said he got 9!! I guess the best spots are known by the guide or land owner and chose that for himself. I just know he was not a customer like me and my 8 year old boy, and it's a shame I wasn't at least put there. If 2 doves came in range, that would be DOUBLE what I could get for my little boy. People know that if you have doves one week, that can change the next. But scouting a day or two before would let you know that. So, I paid $97 for a motel, gas, and $165 for a "guided" dive hunt. So I got a about a $300 dove. But I was glad to get out of Houston for the day, and the bonding with my son at the motel was nice, but the dove hunt was very disappointing, guys said they saw doves, but I guarantee it was not within a few days my my trip, or they saved the spot for those 9 birds for the privileged. Should have been for a customer. I would for mine. Like I said, nice guys, but clearly NOT advertised truthfully. I'm to experienced to know what happened. I trusted, and got burned. Once trust is lost, good luck getting it back. Shame, because I really wanted to start a tradition. Personally I liked the guys, but business wise, I think I was not considered to important because I was just a daddy and his little boy. Being affable is why I decided to give 2 stars. But I can get that at the A&M Football Games!

Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, bait, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
