Independent Guide
My name is Captain Jojo. I operate out of Panama City Beach, FL.
I got started by freelining and casting on the pier, kayaking in the bays and fishing from the beach and jettys. Eventually, I got a boat and spent more days on the water than on land.
Now I spend my days enjoying seeing others have the time of their life hooking their first, biggest or most fish ever.
When you book with me I'll prioritize your safety,
experience and fish in the box.

I let everyone know we won't go out if I feel like it could be dangerous. If you're not having fun, I'm not doing my job, regardless of whether we catch a bunch of fish and I will try to fill the box every time.

Once the trip is over, we will get our epic pics, I'll filet the fish and bag everything, including putting it on ice so you can take them straight to the grill or pack in the car for the journey home.

What’s your drink of choice?

What do you want for Christmas this year?

How did you get started guiding?
I was about 6-7 years old. My dad got me hooked when he took me on a friend's fishing trip in TN with his buddy Allen Fowler and we slayed bass every cast the second we got there. Ive been stretching lines ever since.
What makes you different from other guides?
For me, it's not just about putting fish in the boat. I know the people coming out are coming looking for a memory to hold onto for their lives. Im proud to be a part of that and I aim to give them the best of me, personally, as well as professionally. You're going to learn, cut up and catch fish if I did my job well.
