Independent Guide
Hi I’m Damian “Captain D”. I am a certified Master Captain. I am licensed and insured to run Charters in NYS. I hold all the permits needed for the species we target.

I grew up on Shelter Island fishing these waters from April to December. I starting as a little kid with a bamboo rod, fishing off the dock and have progressed to be a master of my trade. I’m a happy upbeat guy who loves to teach and share.
My thrill is watching someone catch their trophy fish or seeing a kid catch their first fish . I’m energetic and will frequently be the one saying “one more drift” if the bite is on.

Let me take you out for a day that will be sure to build great memories for a lifetime.
