About Your Trip

Hit the inshore flats of Tierra Verde with Captain Gene for a day packed with rod-bending action! Whether you're sight casting for cruising Reds or drifting live bait for Snook and Speckled Trout, this trip is all about targeting Florida's favorite inshore species with precision and power.

Captain Gene will already have the live bait well-stocked and ready to roll when you arrive, so no time is wasted—just hop aboard and start casting. You'll fish
from a classic 24’ Mako bay boat that’s built to navigate skinny water while still offering plenty of space for your crew of up to 6 anglers. Outfitted with a 150HP Yamaha engine, this rig is equipped with a livewell, fish box, shade, and a cooler to keep your drinks and snacks chilled. You’re welcome to bring your own cooler too—but if you need one, Captain Gene has you covered.

All top-of-the-line light tackle gear is provided, and this trip is dialed in for anglers of all experience levels. You’ll be fishing 100% live bait, using proven tactics to target Redfish, Snook, and Speckled Trout in the shallow backwaters and grass flats. Whether you're new to the game or a seasoned angler, Captain Gene will tailor the experience to your crew.

Music? Crank your favorite playlist via Bluetooth. Cold drinks? Absolutely—just no glass, please. Captain Gene will clean and fillet your catch at the end of the day, so all you need to bring is your favorite food and drinks, a great attitude, and maybe a little luck from the fish gods.

Ready to chase some drag-screaming inshore action? Let’s go fishing!
