About Your Trip

Get ready for an unforgettable 8-hour offshore fishing adventure with Captain Brian in the deep blue waters of Port Aransas! This trip kicks off bright and early at 7:00 AM, and with Captain Brian at the helm, you’re in for a thrilling day of reeling in some of the ocean’s hardest fighters. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or a first-timer, this trip is perfect for everyone, with a variety of fishing styles to keep things exciting.

After a two-hour cruise out to prime offshore fishing grounds aboard a powerful 33’ Northcoast Sportfisher, you'll be set up to target some of the most coveted species in the Gulf. Amberjack is the main prize here—a fierce, hard-hitting fighter that’ll put your skills (and muscles) to the test. But that’s not all! Depending on the season, you’ll also have the chance to hook into Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Kingfish, and possibly even Red Snapper. Whether you’re trolling the surface for speedy predators or dropping baits deep for those bottom dwellers, Captain Brian knows just where to go to find the action.

Captain Brian's 33’ Sportfisher, powered by twin 700 HP Cat engines, is the perfect vessel for this kind of deep-sea fishing adventure. She’s a classic beauty, built in 1989, but fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable and productive day on the water. The spacious deck provides plenty of room for up to 12 anglers to fish at once, and the boat’s full suite of amenities, including a restroom, live bait well, and Bluetooth music setup, ensures you’ll be able to relax between bites and enjoy the ride. Plus, the boat is federally permitted, meaning you’ll be fishing in deep offshore waters where the big fish roam.

Captain Brian has all the bases covered—rods, reels, tackle, and live bait are included, so all you need to bring is your favorite snacks, drinks (please, no glass bottles), and a sense of adventure! And don’t forget to put together a killer playlist to blast through the boat’s Bluetooth speakers while you reel in your catch. Whether you’re bottom fishing, deep dropping, trolling, or using artificial lures, Captain Brian’s expertise will ensure you're using the best technique to land a trophy fish.

This trip is perfect for groups of all kinds—kid-friendly, disability accessible, and great for anglers of all skill levels. If the weather takes a turn for the worse, you won’t have to worry about losing your deposit. And with a flexible cancellation policy that lets you cancel up to 3 days before the trip, you can book with confidence.

So, grab your crew, get ready for some heart-pounding action, and let Captain Brian take you on an offshore adventure you won’t forget! Whether it’s the mighty Amberjack or the fast-striking Kingfish, you’ll be swapping fish stories for years to come after this epic day on the water.

I've been fishing my whole life and moved to the coast of Texas five years ago and have been fishing the gulf and haven't found a better fishing hole. I love the Gulf of Mexico for its broad array of fishing. I work with several very experienced guides and have super good deckhands who love working with people and getting them the fish!
