About Your Trip

Get ready for an unforgettable day on the water with Captain Stratton, a 3rd generation captain who brings a lifetime of passion and expertise to every trip! Captain Stratton loves what he does, and with his deep knowledge of these waters, you’re in for an adventure packed with excitement and big catches.

Depending on the time of year, you might find yourself battling Blacktip and Lemon Sharks, reeling in speedy King and Spanish Mackerel, or
going after the elusive Tarpon. You’ll also have chances at catching Great Barracuda, Cobia, Redfish, Sheepshead, Gray Triggerfish, Black Seabass, and more. No matter what’s biting, Captain Stratton will put you right on top of the action!

You’ll be using a variety of techniques like heavy tackle, trolling, and bottom fishing to target your fish, but if you’re looking for something a little more specialized, Captain Stratton’s got you covered. And the best part? Any fish you catch that’s within size and bag limits is yours to keep, and Captain Stratton will even clean your catch for you—so you can go home with fresh fillets ready for the grill!

Your trip takes place aboard a 30’ Blackfin, a fishing machine built for comfort and performance. With room for up to 6 passengers, this boat comes equipped with everything you need for a successful day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience, and all rods, reels, tackle, and lures are provided. If you’re interested in live bait, just ask beforehand, and you might get the chance to catch it yourself!

The charter covers your fishing license, so all you need to bring is your enthusiasm, some snacks, and your favorite drinks to stay fueled throughout the day. Keep in mind, some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons, but Captain Stratton will guide you through the rules to make sure you’re fishing responsibly.

This trip is family-friendly, and kids are more than welcome to join in on the fun! If you’re bringing little anglers, be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, or bring your own. So pack your gear, gather the family, and get ready for a day full of laughter, learning, and unforgettable fishing experiences with Captain Stratton!
