About Your Trip

If you’re looking for an unforgettable day of fishing in the breathtaking lowcountry, Captain Chad is your go-to guide for Savannah fly fishing at its finest. With years of experience, a passion for preserving the fishery, and an emphasis on personalized instruction, Captain Chad specializes in fly and light tackle fishing along the stunning Georgia coast. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or brand new to the sport, Captain Chad’s expertise and enthusiasm will make your trip both exciting and rewarding.

Redfish are the star of the show in these waters, and Captain Chad is a master at sight-fishing for them. Whether you’re casting flies or working with light tackle, nothing beats the thrill of spotting a redfish in the shallows, making the perfect cast, and watching it take the bait. In addition to redfish, the waters around Savannah and Tybee Island are home to an incredible variety of species. Depending on the season, you might hook into cobia, jack crevalle, tarpon, tripletail, and more! For redfish, Captain Chad practices catch and release, ensuring this vital fishery remains healthy and thriving for generations to come.

You’ll be fishing aboard a traditional flats-style skiff, specifically designed to navigate the skinny waters and marshy flats of the lowcountry. These sleek, shallow-running vessels allow you to reach areas that larger boats can’t, giving you the ultimate advantage when sight-fishing for elusive species. With top-of-the-line tackle provided for all trips, you’ll have everything you need to focus on the experience and the fish.

Captain Chad’s charters are available throughout Savannah, Tybee Island, and the surrounding areas, making it easy to access some of the best fishing the Georgia coast has to offer. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful morning on the flats or an action-packed day chasing trophy fish, Captain Chad will tailor the trip to suit your goals and skill level. His friendly and personalized approach ensures you’ll not only catch fish but also improve your technique and leave with new skills and knowledge.

When you book with Captain Chad, all you need to bring are your favorite snacks, drinks, sunscreen, and a good pair of polarized sunglasses to help you spot those fish in the shallows. Everything else – from high-quality gear to expert instruction – will be taken care of.

If you’re ready to explore the beauty of the Georgia lowcountry and experience the thrill of sight-fishing at its best, Captain Chad is ready to show you why these waters are so special. Book your trip today and get ready to cast your line into adventure!
