With years of expertise guiding clients through Texas' rich hunting landscapes, Fred provides a top-notch experience for those looking to hunt whitetail in the heart of the South Texas brush country. With multiple properties, in La hoya, Encino, Free and La Gloria Texas we offer Low and High fenced opportunities.

The initial pricing of the hunt is based on Cull bucks for each hunter.

- Cull Bucks - Included in base price.
- Management Bucks (up to 8 points without trophy genetics) - Starting at $1,500.
- Trophy Buck Pricing: Pricing for trophy bucks is based on size (measured by SCI score):

Up to 139" SCI - $2,500
140"-149" SCI - $3,500
150"-159" SCI - $5,000
160"-169" SCI - $6,000
170"-189" SCI - $8,000
190"-199" SCI - $9,900
200"+ SCI - $10,000 + $100 per inch over 200", up to 250"
Over 250" SCI - $10,000 + $300 per inch over 250"

Does can be added for an additional $300 each.

Lodging: Comfortable lodging is available at these ranches, with rates ranging from $150-$300 per night, depending on location and amenities.

Group Hunts: We can accommodate groups of 6 or more with advance notice—ideal for family or corporate hunting trips.

Important Policy: Please note: once an animal is hit, the price will be charged, even if it isn’t recovered.

I decided to become a guide because it goes hand in hand with my outdoor tv show and magazine. It’s called Texas Sportsman.
What makes you different from other guides?
I am the owner and host of my TV Show, it’s called Texas Sportsman, I have been fishing for 45 years in the bay. I am very knowledgeable of most of the different areas of the Laguna Madre .

You will be responsible for your own gear. Once you book your trip, we'll connect you directly with Fred to discuss details.
You'll need to buy a hunting license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a QR Code boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!
In the event of inclement weather, our guides will check the conditions and make the final call on whether its safe to go on the trip. If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.
Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, bait, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
