Whether you’re a local or visiting the “World’s Luckiest Fishing Village,” these experienced captains will take you on an offshore fishing trip packed with action, excitement, and memories that will last a lifetime.

With trips ranging from 4 to 12 hours, Captains PJ and Jacob offer offshore charters that combine bottom fishing and trolling to target a wide variety of prized Gulf species. The longer the trip, the farther you’ll venture into the deep blue waters, giving you even more opportunities to reel in big fish. Depending on the time of year, you’ll have the chance to catch Mahi-Mahi, Amberjack, Snapper, Grouper, Kingfish, Wahoo, Cobia, Sharks, and more! Whether it’s pulling a Grouper off the bottom or trolling for a high-speed Kingfish, Captains PJ and Jacob will put you on the fish and keep the excitement going.

Your adventure takes place aboard a 34’ Hatteras sportfishing yacht that’s designed for comfort and performance. This spacious vessel can accommodate up to six passengers and comes fully equipped with outriggers, an ice box to keep your catch fresh, and modern amenities like air conditioning and a toilet on board. Before heading to the fishing grounds, you’ll start by catching live bait, so the action kicks off early and doesn’t stop until you’re back at the dock.

Everything you need for a successful trip is included—rods, reels, tackle, lures, live bait, and even your fishing license. At the end of the day, the crew will clean and fillet your catch for an additional fee, so you can take home fresh fish ready for the grill. Just bring along snacks, drinks (alcohol is allowed in moderation), sunscreen, and sunglasses, and leave the rest to Captains PJ and Jacob.

I am Captain PJ and my first mate is Krueger. We both got started in Destin Florida in 2020 on the party boat Vera Marie and have stuck together ever since. Three years later I bought the 34’ Hatteras that we run together, and we're ready to take you and your family and friends on a memorable fishing trip into the Gulf of Mexico.

We primarily bottom fish so it would be good to look and see what all is in season before you book. We also get a lot of questions about sharks…we will gladly throw some rigs or and get you on a crazy fight if that’s what you would like to try!

We are here for all groups whether you are a family with younger kids or a group of guys on a bachelor party.

As we offer many lengths of offshore charters, the longer the trip the farther we can venture into the Gulf and the more time we can spend CATCHING! Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Red Snapper, Vermilion Snapper, Porgy, Amberjack, Scamp Grouper, Gag Grouper, Blacktip Shark, Kingfish, Spanish Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Cobia, and anything else that bites. Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself trolling, drifting, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you are worried about getting seasick, go ahead and take your medicine the night before so that nothing can stand in the way of a great day. It’s recommended to bring snacks, drinks, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. You’ll be dropping lines from a 34’ Hatteras offshore sport fishing with a capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers and everything you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 3 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 3 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
