If your idea of a perfect day starts with the echo of shotgun blasts at sunrise and ends with the drag-screaming pull of a bull redfish, then this Delacroix Cast and Blast trip is calling your name. Tucked deep in Louisiana’s storied marsh country, you'll kick things off in the pre-dawn stillness—camouflaged in the blind, calling in Black-Bellied Whistling Ducks as they cruise low over Lake Lery. Once the morning flight dies down, you’ll swap shotgun for rod and reel and chase redfish through winding bayous and shallow marsh flats, where every cast could land a trophy.

This is no-frills, boots-on-the-deck action. You’ll be riding out in a rugged 14' utility boat powered by a Go-Devil surface drive engine—purpose-built for navigating the skinny waters of southeast Louisiana. Captain Jason knows this marsh like the back of his hand, and whether you’re a seasoned waterfowler or a first-timer looking to get after it, he’ll put you in the right spot with the right gear and the right game plan. Hunting techniques include calling, hunting from a blind, and decoy setups, while the fishing side is tailored to inshore tactics based on conditions and tide.

You’ll need to bring your own shotgun, shells, mask, knee-high rubber boots, snacks, and drinks—but everything else is taken care of. Game cleaning is included, and if you're lucky, you'll be headed home with a cooler full of fresh duck and redfish filets. From sunup to mid-afternoon, it’s a full-throttle dose of Louisiana’s wild side. Just show up ready to hunt, fish, and soak in a day that’s as raw and real as it gets.

You'll need to buy a hunting license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a QR Code boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!
In the event of inclement weather, our guides will check the conditions and make the final call on whether its safe to go on the trip. If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.
