Spend a Full Day Offshore with Captain Chad and First Mate JJ

Our 8-hour charter is the perfect trip for anglers who want to experience what offshore fishing out of Fort Pierce is all about. We leave the dock around 7:00 AM and spend the day fishing some of the most productive waters on the Treasure Coast.

A full day gives us the time to cover more ground, fish multiple spots, and adjust our game plan based on conditions and what's biting. Depending on the season, we may troll for mahi, wahoo, tuna, sailfish, and kingfish, or work reefs and wrecks for snapper, grouper, amberjack, triggerfish, and other bottom species. Every trip is different, and Captain Chad fishes the conditions to give you the best opportunity at a successful day on the water.

You'll be fishing aboard our 42' Viking, a comfortable sportfishing boat with plenty of room for up to six guests. The boat is equipped with everything needed for a productive day offshore, along with air conditioning, a clean restroom, a galley, and comfortable seating for the ride.

Captain Chad has spent years learning these waters and takes pride in putting guests on fish while making sure everyone enjoys the experience. First Mate JJ is on deck throughout the trip helping with tackle, bait, rigs, fish handling, and anything else you may need.

We provide all rods, reels, tackle, bait, lures, and fishing licenses. Just bring your favorite snacks, drinks, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a cooler for your catch. Beer is welcome aboard, but please leave glass bottles and hard liquor at home.

Whether you're an experienced fisherman chasing a trophy catch or introducing your family to offshore fishing for the first time, our full-day trip gives you the best chance to enjoy everything our local waters have to offer.

At the end of the day, we'll clean and fillet your catch so it's ready for the grill. All you have to do is show up ready to fish and enjoy a great day on the water.

When the weather's right, the fish are biting, and the rods are bent, there's no better place to be than offshore with Captain Chad and First Mate JJ aboard Smokin' Fish.

All rods, reels, and tackle are included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and any gear of your own you want to use on the trip.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 3 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 3 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
