About Your Trip

Let’s Bring Home the BACON on the Hogfish Hoedown with Captain Robert!

Climb aboard with Captain Robert for this action-packed Hogfish Hoedown deep sea trip out of Belleair! Whether you're a seasoned offshore angler or trying deep sea fishing for the first time, this 6-hour trip is all about targeting one of the tastiest, trickiest reef fish in the Gulf—Hogfish.

These sharp-nosed reef dwellers aren’t your average catch. Hogfish are known for being picky eaters
and putting up a good fight, but Captain Robert’s got the gear, the spots, and the know-how to help you outsmart them. You’ll be using a mix of bottom fishing, cut bait fishing, and light tackle techniques to get the job done. It’s hands-on, it’s exciting, and when you finally get one over the rail—you’ll know it was well earned.

You’ll be fishing aboard a 36’ Cape Horn center console, powered by triple Yamaha engines pushing 750 HP, giving you a fast, stable ride out to the prime reef zones. The boat’s layout is built for group fishing with plenty of elbow room, plus it’s kid-friendly, so bring the whole crew! There’s even a restroom onboard for added comfort, and you can hook up your Bluetooth tunes to set the vibe.

Captain Robert will clean your catch back at the dock, so you can head home with fresh Hogfish fillets—widely considered some of the best-eating fish in Florida.

All rods, reels, bait, tackle, and fishing licenses are included, so just pack your drinks (beer is welcome—just no glass!), snacks, and plenty of sunscreen. Book your spot now and get ready to reel in the Gulf’s best-kept secret
