About Your Trip

Explore the pristine backwaters and winding creeks of Beaufort’s barrier islands on a customized inshore fishing adventure with Captains Tommy and Scott. Whether you’re a seasoned angler looking to stalk tailing redfish in shallow marshes or a first-timer hoping to land your very first saltwater catch, each trip is tailored to your skill level, interests, and group dynamics. These waters offer calm, scenic fishing grounds, making them an excellent choice for families, beginners, and experienced anglers alike.

On these inshore fishing charters, expect to target hard-fighting redfish, which are available year-round, along with speckled trout, black drum, sheepshead, and flounder depending on the season. During the warmer months, giant bull redfish and tarpon make an appearance, offering anglers an unforgettable battle. Whether you prefer casting artificial lures in skinny water for cruising reds or fishing with live and cut bait to maximize your catch, Captains Tommy and Scott will set up the perfect approach based on your goals.

Trips range from 3, 4, 6, or 8 hours, with afternoon half-day trips available for those looking to get on the water later in the day. The relaxed yet exciting nature of inshore fishing makes it ideal for kids, and nothing beats seeing a young angler reel in their first saltwater fish.

Your adventure takes place on a 25’ C Hawk bay boat or a 22’ Pathfinder Bay Boat, both powered by quiet Suzuki outboards. These vessels are designed for comfort and versatility, allowing access to shallow creeks while providing a smooth ride across the flats. A wireless trolling motor ensures a stealthy approach when sight-casting to wary fish in the shallows.

All the gear you need is included in the trip—Bulls Bay rods, Canyon reels, live bait, and terminal tackle—so you can focus on the thrill of the catch. Fishing licenses are also covered, and at the end of the trip, the crew will clean and fillet your catch, so you can take home a fresh meal.

Whether you’re after a trophy redfish or just looking to enjoy a relaxing day on the water, Captains Tommy and Scott are ready to make your trip one to remember. Let’s go bend a rod!

About Your Guide

Tommy B.

Outfitter
Captain Tommy and his team bring a deep-rooted passion for the Lowcountry and a combined lifetime of experience fishing the waters around Beaufort, South Carolina. Born and raised here, Tommy’s connection to the creeks runs back to childhood—when catching his first redfish at age five nearly pulled him overboard. With a background in education, he now channels that same energy into teaching others about fishing in his favorite place on earth.

Joining him is a crew of seasoned locals and
die-hard anglers. Captain Scott brings over 40 years of Beaufort fishing experience and a true waterman’s mindset. Captain Jackson offers serious offshore expertise, from swordfishing to kite fishing, built on years of bluewater tournament experience. And Captain Kellan rounds out the team with a laid-back, customer-first approach and a love for exploring everything from shallow creeks to nearshore wrecks.

This team prides itself on more than just putting fish in the boat—they’re here to give you a full, unforgettable experience on the water. Whether you’re after Redfish in the grass, Sheepshead around structure, or just want to cruise the Lowcountry creeks, these captains work hard to deliver.

Every trip is powered by clean, well-equipped boats, top-notch gear, and a shared goal: for you to walk off the dock smiling, feeling like you got way more than what you came for.
