Captain James believes that the best time to learn how to fish is while you’re young, so he welcomes families aboard for an unforgettable day on the water. Whether you're bringing the kids along for their first big catch or you're an experienced angler looking to fill the cooler, this trip is all about fun, excitement, and plenty of action. If you need a child-sized life vest, just ask ahead of time, and don’t forget to pack some snacks and drinks to keep everyone fueled up for the adventure.

You’ll be fishing aboard a 37’ center console designed for serious offshore fishing. With outriggers, downriggers, a live bait well, a wireless trolling motor, GPS, radar, and an ice box, this boat has everything you need for a productive day at sea. Rods, reels, tackle, lures, and live bait are all included, and depending on the trip, you may even get to catch your own bait before heading out. There's no need to purchase a fishing license, and Captain James will keep you up to date on any size or season regulations for the fish you catch.

For an 8-hour adventure, you’ll depart at 7 staying within 20 miles of shore, targeting a variety of hard-fighting and great-eating species. Depending on the season, the best action might be right near the beach, where you can troll for Spanish Mackerel and King Mackerel, jig for False Albacore and Spadefish, bottom fish for Black Seabass, Sheepshead, and Flounder, or even battle a Great Barracuda or Cobia. With a mix of trolling, jigging, casting, and bottom fishing, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

For those who want to venture farther offshore, the 10-hour trip takes you up to 35 miles out, departing at 6 where you'll find a wider variety of fish and a chance at some bigger catches. This trip is a mix of trolling and bottom fishing, targeting everything from Kingfish, Mahi Mahi, and Barracuda to Red Snapper, Gag Grouper, Almaco Jack, Triggerfish, and Vermilion Snapper. The deeper waters hold incredible fish diversity, and you never know what the ocean will give up on any given day!

Be sure to bring sunglasses, non-spray sunscreen, and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask—alcohol is allowed in moderation, but please avoid hard liquor and glass bottles. There will be plenty of ice and water available on board to keep you cool throughout the day.
