About Your Trip

Chase Legends. Catch Monsters. Make Memories.

The Neuse River and Pamlico Sound aren’t just fishing spots—they’re where legends are made. Home to 18 of the 24 IGFA World Records for Redfish, this NC Inner Banks estuary is a bucket-list destination for serious anglers. And at the helm? Capt. Dave, a veteran of these waters since the early 1980s and one of the most respected guides in the game.

Fishing is year-round, and so is the action. Whether it’s battling trophy Red Drum in late summer, chasing gator-sized speckled trout in winter, or hooking into a mixed bag of hard-fighting species in between, Capt. Dave knows where the bite is hot. He’ll tailor your trip to the best odds for the season—casting, live baiting, or whatever it takes to put fish in the boat.

You’ll be riding in style aboard a 2025 Parker 23SE, powered by a 250HP Yamaha and outfitted with the latest electronics and gear—a true fishing machine. And don’t worry about a fishing license—you’re covered under the boat’s Blanket License.

From New Bern to the Outer Banks, the bite moves, and so do we. So if you’re ready to experience world-class fishing, unmatched local expertise, and the kind of stories you’ll be telling for years, book your trip now.

Because out here, it’s not just fishing—it’s fishing like a pirate

About Your Guide

Dave H.

Independent Guide

Captain Dave’s passion for the water runs deep—born and raised in Charleston, SC, with a childhood spent at his father’s Berkley Marine Center on the Cooper River. From chasing redfish in the marsh to battling striper and bass on the lakes, fishing wasn’t just a hobby—it was an obsession.

After decades leading top outboard and boat brands, Captain Dave retired to Oriental, NC—the very spot he fell in love with back in 1984 while at East Carolina University and working for Sea Ox Boats. But retirement doesn’t mean slowing down. With 40+ years of experience fishing alongside elite guides, TV personalities, and pro anglers, he knows what it takes to create an unforgettable day on the water.

Want a next-level fishing experience? Just check the reviews—Captain Dave delivers. Book your trip today and make your time on the water EPIC!
