About Your Trip

Set out for an unforgettable fishing adventure in the historic waters of Boston Harbor with Captain Eric, a passionate angler, seasoned guide, and former professional photographer who brings over 20 years of experience to every trip. Based out of Hingham—an area known for its colonial charm and top-tier fishing—Captain Eric offers easy pickup at nearly any dock in Boston Harbor or the surrounding area, making it convenient no matter where you're staying.

From May through
November, these waters come alive with opportunity. You'll target a range of local heavy-hitters like giant Striped Bass, Black Seabass, Bluefish, and even Cod when the season’s right. Whether you're a first-time angler or a seasoned fly fisher, Captain Eric customizes every trip to match your experience level and interests, ensuring a fun, productive day on the water.

You'll be fishing from a sleek 28’ Contender center console, powered by twin 300HP Suzuki engines and outfitted with a live bait tank, ice box, GPS, radar, and all the necessary safety gear. The boat offers plenty of space and speed, perfect for reaching the hot spots quickly and comfortably with up to six anglers on board.

Captain Eric supplies only the best gear, with Shimano reels, St. Croix rods, and premium lures provided. For fly anglers, he offers top-quality Orvis setups, and every trip has the option to focus on fly fishing if that's your style. While live bait is rarely needed, it can be made available upon request. Whether you're bottom fishing, spinning, or casting a fly, the captain will guide you through it all with skill and enthusiasm.

Drinks and fishing licenses are included, and at the end of the trip, your catch can be cleaned and filleted if you'd like to bring home dinner. While Captain Eric encourages catch and release, he respects your choice and is happy to help you make the most of your haul.

With Captain Eric, you’re not just getting a great day of fishing—you’re also going home with professional-grade photos to capture the moment. If you're looking to hook into serious fish and make memories that last, this Boston Harbor trip delivers the full experience, start to finish.
