About Your Trip

Step aboard for a true offshore expedition into Canyon Country, where the Gulf drops off into deep blue water and everything changes. These long-range canyon trips push 60 to 100 miles offshore, putting you right in the heart of pelagic territory where bait stacks up, currents collide, and the ocean comes alive with some of the most sought-after gamefish in the Atlantic.

From the moment lines hit the water, you’re fishing in big-water conditions designed
for serious anglers. Early mornings often start along weed lines and temperature breaks, where trolling spreads are rigged with skirted ballyhoo, diving plugs, and rigged lures built to draw explosive strikes from mahi-mahi, wahoo, and roaming tuna. When the bite is on, it can turn into fast-paced chaos—multiple hookups, high-speed runs, and fish coming over the rail in quick succession.

As the day develops and the canyon structure comes into play, the approach shifts. Deep drops for swordfish are a highlight of these trips, sending baits hundreds to thousands of feet into the dark where broadbill patrol the depths. These encounters are slow, deliberate, and intense, often culminating in some of the most hard-earned battles offshore fishing has to offer. Meanwhile, yellowfin and blackfin tuna can show up anywhere in the spread, especially around bait stacks and color changes, delivering powerful surface strikes and drag-screaming runs.

When conditions allow, chunking becomes a major focus, especially under low light or nighttime windows. Chum slicks draw fish in close, creating sustained surface activity as tuna and other pelagics push into the spread. It’s a style of fishing that rewards patience and precision, with every bait drop potentially turning into a hookup.

The vessel is built for these extended canyon runs, fully equipped with offshore electronics, heavy tackle setups, and a seasoned crew that knows how to read the water and stay on the bite. With a maximum of six anglers, everyone has room to work the rail, rotate into hot action, and stay locked in without feeling crowded.

This is not a nearshore trip or a casual day on the water. It’s a full-scale offshore mission into some of the most productive fishing grounds in the Gulf, where swordfish roam deep, tuna push hard, and every trip carries the real possibility of a fish of a lifetime.

If you're chasing big pelagics, this is where it happens—way out, where the shelf drops and the ocean comes alive.
