oin us for a 4-hour or 7-hour trip during the season, running from May 1 through October 20, on Saturdays and Sundays only. Our 4-hour trips depart daily at either 8:00 AM or 1:00 PM, while the 7-hour option gets started at 8:00 AM sharp.

Capt. Tom will be at the helm, bringing over 45 years of fishing experience to your day on the water. A true New Yorker with a world of fishing under his belt—from the U.S. coastlines to the waters of Costa Rica, Mexico, and Aruba—he's spent the last decade turning his passion into a full-time career. You’ll be in great hands.

Each trip is a chance at a mixed bag of catches, depending on what's biting. We target a wide range of species, including Black Seabass, Striped Bass, Bluefish, Flounder, Weakfish, Sculpin, Scup (Porgy), Dogfish, and Skate. The crew will always be aiming to put you on the best option for the day.

Your trip includes premium Penn, Shimano, and Daiwa rods and reels, all bait and tackle, and a fishing license. We'll also take care of your catch—filleting is included in the trip price.

The boat is outfitted for comfort and performance, featuring a private toilet, air conditioning, GPS, fishfinder, live bait well, flybridge, bed, kitchen, refrigerator, multimedia system, outriggers, radar, and even ice boxes for your snacks. A fighting chair is available if requested.

There's always a first mate onboard to assist throughout the trip. While the fare covers the essentials, it's customary to tip the mate 20% of the trip cost for their hard work.

When you think of New York City, you probably imagine bright lights, busy streets, and that world-famous skyline – however, Captain Tom is here to show you a whole other side to the “Big Apple.” Join him in Brooklyn, where his mission is simple: “To put you on fish and make sure you have an enjoyable, comfortable, and safe time out on the water.”

Capt. Tom is a native New Yorker who’s been fishing for over 45 years. He’s explored many local fisheries, as well as those further afield, including Costa Rica, Mexico, and Aruba. He decided to turn his passion for angling into a career and offers first-class fishing trips that are suitable for anglers of all ages and abilities, including children. They’re completely customizable, too – let him know what you want to hook, and he’ll take you to the hottest spots around!

You’ll be fishing from your captain’s 36’ Luhrs offshore sportfishing vessel, perfectly built to tackle the waters of Jamaica Bay, as well as the open ocean. She can accommodate up to 6 guests, so bring along the entire family, or settle some scores with your best angling buddies! On board, you’ll find a full toilet, top-of-the-line navigational gear, life jackets for all ages, a multi-media system, and outriggers for maximum fishability.

Capt. Tom caters his trips to all types of anglers, so there’s something to suit every skill level. Want to take your family on an unforgettable vacation? Spend the day Fluke fishing – these fish are plenty of fun to catch, and also make for tasty table fare! Want to hook some game fish? Get ready for plenty of rod-bending action as you chase Striper (Striped Bass), Bluefish, and more. For hardcore anglers, come face-to-gills with some impressive marine life as you target a variety of Shark species.

All gear is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and any gear of your own you want to use on the trip.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 24 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 24 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.

After booking your trip, we'll connect you directly with your guide to discuss additional details. In the meantime, our team is here to answer any questions via email, text, or phone.
