Step aboard with Captain Kevin for a private, customizable day on the water exploring St. Pete Beach and St. Petersburg like a true local. This is your chance to experience the Gulf Coast the way it is meant to be seen, from the water, where hidden sandbars, barrier islands, and remote beaches open up a world of clear water, wildlife, and laid-back coastal living.

Your day is fully flexible and built around your group’s ideal pace. Cruise through calm Gulf waters to secluded sandbars with pristine, shallow water that can only be reached by boat. Stop to swim, relax, and soak in the scenery, or continue island hopping along some of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in the area. Every stop is chosen based on conditions and your interests, making each trip unique.

Wildlife encounters are a major highlight of the experience. Dolphins are frequently seen playing in the boat’s wake or feeding in the shallows, while manatees, sea turtles, and schools of fish often appear in the warm, protected waters. Overhead, coastal birds complete the scene, creating a constant connection to the natural environment throughout the day.

One of the standout destinations on this trip is Egmont Key, where you can explore historic Spanish ruins dating back to the 1800s and take in the island’s unique blend of history and natural beauty. Captain Kevin is a sixth-generation Floridian, and backcountry fishing, flats fishing and beach fishing are all second nature to me. His uncle was a charter boat captain in Madeira Beach, here on the Gulf Coast of Florida, and many of the Tampa Bay/St. Pete Beach fishing secrets have been passed down to him. The rest he's learned by fishing the inshore flats and beaches all his life! As your private fishing guide, Captain Kevin can pass these secrets on to you!

Kevin graduated high school in 2000, and instead of going to college, he decided he was going to sea school to obtain his captain’s license. He received his six-pack captain’s license, also known as a charter captain’s license, in September 2001 and ran his first charter about three weeks later. Today, he's still doing what he loves, taking people fishing and making tons of new friends!

All gear is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 3 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 3 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

The boys and I had a great time. It was the first time they’d ever been out on a charter. Kevin was a great host he put us on the fish cleaned our catch and was just a joy to spend four hours with. We would highly recommend. Where he picks you up they have valet parking and his boat is just a few steps away.

We vet our guides and only partner with the best of the best. Our guides do their very best to keep you safe, show you a great time, and send you home with a memorable experience shared with family and friends.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a QR Code boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. Just make sure you bring a cash tip for the guide!

In the event of inclement weather, our guides will check the conditions and make the final call on whether its safe to go on the trip. If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
