Hunting invasive iguana lizards is a blast! Using high powered air pellet rifles to slay these disruptive reptiles. Iguana are on invasive species to Florida. Iguanas eat native vegetation and wildlife. Also they cause damage to property by burrowing in to structures. Hunting and dispersing iguanas is encouraged by locals and game officials.

All gear is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 7 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 7 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

We went on an iguana hunting trip with Captain Dominic on February 22 and had a great experience. He was extremely knowledgeable and knew exactly where to take us to give us the best opportunity. It was not the ideal timing since it was only a few weeks after the historic low temperatures in South Florida, but he still worked hard and put us on a solid number of lizards. We were able to harvest about 12 that day.

What meant the most to me was how attentive he was to my 9 year old son. He made sure my son felt comfortable using the air rifle and understood how to safely and properly dispatch the iguanas. That level of patience and professionalism stood out.

I highly recommend Captain Dominic and we will definitely be back again this summer.

We had such an incredible experience with Captain Dom! He did an excellent job showing my boys (8 and 10) how to safely handle the guns for our iguana hunt and set them up for a successful trip. My boys, 8 & 12, and I took an iguana hunting trip with Captain Dominic and it was a blast. Captain Dominic helped my youngest with the air rifle when he needed it, which freed me up to get more shots on iguana. There were plenty of iguana to shoot. I can’t recommend Captain Dominic enough. Book the trip and I’m sure you won’t be disappointed other than your wish you had more time!
