About Your Trip

If variety is what you’re after, Captain Joey’s 4- to 6-hour inshore and nearshore trip delivers non-stop action in every direction. From pitching live baits under shady mangroves to dropping down on productive nearshore wrecks—or trolling through the zone in between—you’ll be chasing the next bite with every cast. The diversity of species and techniques makes this one of the most popular trips in the lineup.

You’ll be fishing aboard a 26’ Boston Whaler center
console, powered by twin 250 HP Mercury engines and fully equipped with a trolling motor, GPS, and fish finder. With room for up to 6 anglers, the boat is spacious, smooth, and set up for everything from shallow inshore structure to productive offshore edges just beyond the beach.

Expect a mixed bag of hard-pulling game fish like Snook, Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Sheepshead, Spanish Mackerel, Gag and Red Grouper, Permit, Cobia, and more. Joey will dial in the best techniques for the day—be it live baiting, jigging, trolling, or bottom fishing—based on conditions and the current bite.

All rods, reels, tackle, and live bait are provided. Bottled water is included, and you’re welcome to bring your own snacks and drinks (alcohol is fine in moderation—just skip the glass). The trip is great for all skill levels, and Joey is always happy to accommodate kids and anglers with disabilities. He’ll even clean your catch at the end of the day.

Whether you're chasing your first Redfish or hunting for a mixed-bag haul, this trip is built for variety, action, and unforgettable time on the water.

Joey and Linda were great pair! The fish were a little slow but they moved us around until we were sure to have enough for a good meal! They kept us out until we had a decent catch! We appreciated their time and patience with us as a couple of us were beginners.
