Four hours on the water out of Cape May gives your group a well-rounded offshore experience with Captain Mark, targeting a solid variety of species along the New Jersey coast. Departure is at 7am, putting you back at the marina around 11am with the rest of the day wide open for the beach or other Cape May attractions.

The trip runs approximately two hours out and back to reach the most productive fishing grounds, where your group will spend two focused hours trolling or working the bottom depending on what the bite calls for. Bluefish, Spanish mackerel, and Atlantic bonito are the primary targets, hard-fighting pelagic species that respond well to both trolling and live bait presentations. Black sea bass, summer flounder, and gray triggerfish round out the bottom fishing opportunities for those who want to work the structure.

Your group fishes from a 44-foot Henriques sportfisher, a well-built offshore platform that handles the Atlantic comfortably and gives your group plenty of room to spread out and fish without feeling crowded. The size and stability of the vessel make it a great fit for families and mixed groups, including those who may not have spent much time offshore.

Captain Mark and his crew handle all the rigging, baiting, and coaching so anglers of any experience level can step aboard and get right into it. All gear is provided, and the relaxed morning schedule makes this an easy add to any Cape May trip without sacrificing a full day to do it.

All gear is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 7 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 7 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
