Four hours on Sarasota Bay with Captain Jose gives your group a focused and well-guided inshore fishing experience on one of Florida's most productive coastal estuaries. This is a trip built around getting you on fish efficiently, covering the bay's grass flats, mangrove shorelines, and tidal structure where snook, redfish, and a variety of other local species hold throughout the year.

Captain Jose knows Sarasota Bay and puts that knowledge to work on every trip, running a game plan built around what has been producing and where the fish are moving with the tide. Snook are the marquee inshore target, ambushing bait along structure and current edges with the kind of explosive strike that keeps anglers coming back. Redfish round out the primary target list, tailing on the flats and pushing through the shallows in a way that makes for some of the most visually exciting fishing the bay has to offer.

The 18-foot Hydra Sport center console is rigged and ready for serious inshore work. A fishfinder and GPS keep Captain Jose dialed into productive water and moving efficiently between spots, while a wireless trolling motor allows for quiet, precise positioning that does not push fish off the flat before the cast is made. A livewell keeps bait healthy and active throughout the trip, and an ice box takes care of any fish your group decides to keep.

All gear is provided and the relaxed four-hour format makes this a great fit for anglers of any experience level, including families and first-timers.

All gear is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 3 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 3 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Once you've paid your deposit at checkout, we'll send you a QR Code boarding pass. Just show your guide your boarding pass on the day of the trip, they'll scan it, the remaining balance will transfer automatically, and you'll be all set to get out there. In the event of inclement weather, our guides will check the conditions and make the final call on whether its safe to go on the trip. If they decide the trip needs to be postponed, we'll work closely with you to reschedule or provide a credit for the full deposit, which can be applied to any of our trips in the US and beyond.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
