He took the time to understand our skill level and tailored the day accordingly—whether it was offering patient instruction on casting techniques or sharing more advanced strategies. The Little Red River itself was stunning. Clear water, peaceful surroundings, and just the right balance of challenge and accessibility. He consistently put us on fish throughout the day, and his instincts about where and when to fish were spot-on. What really stood out was the attention to detail. From high-quality gear to thoughtful tips and encouragement, everything was handled professionally and with care. It never felt rushed or transactional—it felt like spending the day with someone who truly loves what they do and wants you to love it too. Oh yeah and he makes an awesome turkey cheese sandwich for lunch! Looking forward to another trip in the future.

We had a great day on the little red river with Robert. We all caught fish and his boat was perfect for the four of us to fish comfortably. I would highly recommend his services to anyone who’s looking to go fishing and not just boat ride. Also, he was very patient with us. Novice fly fisherman.
