About Your Trip

Get ready for a relaxing and awe-inspiring day on the water with Captain Larry as you explore the natural beauty of Greers Ferry Lake on a guided eco tour! Nestled in the rolling hills of the Ozarks, this scenic lake is a hidden gem, brimming with wildlife, lush forests, and striking geological features—and there’s no better way to discover it all than with a local legend at the helm.

Captain Larry knows Greers Ferry Lake
like the back of his hand. With decades of experience navigating these waters, he’ll take you to the most breathtaking coves, hidden inlets, and shoreline vistas while sharing rich stories about the area’s natural history, unique wildlife, and even a few fishing tales—yes, including the one where he caught the Arkansas state record walleye!

This 4-hour eco tour is a perfect outing for families, bird watchers, and nature lovers of all kinds. Keep your eyes peeled for bald eagles soaring above, herons stalking the shoreline, and turtles sunbathing on the rocks. Deer sightings are common, and depending on the season, you might even spot osprey diving for fish or hear the haunting call of loons echoing across the water.

You’ll ride in comfort aboard Captain Larry’s 17’ Tracker utility boat, equipped with Bluetooth speakers so you can bring along your favorite playlist. Feel free to pack your favorite snacks and drinks—beer is welcome too, just no glass bottles.
