The Ponce Inlet area had really been heating up. And I mean that literally. With water temps in the mid 80s many species have been pretty active. For the past two weeks we have had Kingfish (king mackeral) on the beaches so just about every drop with bait you are hooking up. This is great if you are targeting them but otherwise they are going to bite you off. Tarpon still very active with mixes of 20-40 lb fish and 100lb plus fish. We had an incredible fishing trip today with Elio! He went above and beyond to make sure my boys had an unforgettable time. From spotting dolphins to catching sharks and landing some absolute monsters, every moment was exciting. One of the highlights was letting my son throw the cast net. He had so much fun bringing in a ton of bait, and Elio made him feel like part of the crew. It was an experience my boys will be talking about for a long time. Elio truly knows how to make a fishing trip fun for the whole family. We would absolutely book another trip with him and highly recommend him to anyone looking for an amazing day on the water!
