Most trips focus on the Intracoastal Waterway and its many creeks, tributaries, and backwater areas. These productive waters provide ideal habitat for some of Northeast Florida's most popular inshore species, including Redfish, Flounder, Speckled Trout, Black Drum, Sheepshead, Pompano, and many others. Depending on the season, tides, and conditions, Captain Christopher will tailor the day's approach to target the fish that are feeding most actively.

Light tackle spinning gear is the preferred method on this trip, providing plenty of excitement when a fish takes the bait. Anglers may fish with live bait, artificial lures, or a combination of both depending on conditions and personal preference. Light tackle allows you to fully enjoy the fight, whether you're battling a powerful Redfish along a marsh edge, working a lure for Trout over a grass flat, or pulling a Sheepshead away from structure.

One of the things that makes fishing in St. Augustine so special is the incredible variety of species available throughout the year. Captain Chris is a lifelong local of Saint Augustine and second generation captain with loads of knowledge of our local waters. Having fished his whole life from guiding salmon in Alaska to fishing the Florida keys he is well versed in whatever comes our way. Offering inshore, near coastal and offshore fishing adventures targeting a multitude of species with the ability to change tactics depending on what you want to do. Children of all ages, lady anglers, families and seasoned anglers are more than encouraged to join. Everything is included in the trip price even bottled waters. Feel free to bring and small cooler with drink and snacks as well as sunscreen.

You're all set! You don't need to buy a license for this trip.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Captain Christopher was outstanding from start to finish. His professionalism, knowledge, and passion for fishing made for an incredible trip. After gathering live bait, we made it to the first fishing spot, and within a minute we were hooked up on kingfish. The action stayed consistent, and he worked hard the entire trip to keep us on fish. He was patient, friendly, and made sure everyone had a great time while sharing tips along the way. If you’re looking for an experienced captain who knows where the fish are and puts in the effort to make your trip successful, I couldn’t recommend Captain Christopher more. I’ll definitely be booking another charter with him in the future and look forward to fishing with him again.
