As the year winds down I want to share my gratitude to all my clients for helping make 23 yet another successful year in fishing and adventure. Thanks to Captains Experience for contribution as well, we're building a fine relationship and I hope it builds. The fishing this year has been on par with most trips and exceptional in many cases. We're seeing a transition in seasonal spieces and we will find great catches in a lil cooler weather. Looking forward to 24 being an awesome year with many exciting fishing adventures.

Patch reef fishing has been great and will just get better as the winter time fronts keep pushing down. Plenty of action with a large variety of fish. Snapper, and grouper are the targets but there are plenty more mixed in. Last trip we got some nice mutton snapper and some grouper.

Swordfishing between the cold fronts on a calm day are very productive. Last trip we caught 4 out of 6 bites. Some big ones around and one of my favorite fish to eat. They call them the gladiator of the sea for a reason! Fish on average weighing in at around 200 lbs. so make sure to bring a big cooler for your fillets.

Fall fishing is in full swing with water temperatures dropping plenty of fish showing up from small tarpon to Goliath groupers and snappers mixed for dinner at a local restaurant this was a 4hr trip landed 3-4 tarpon 6 snooks 6 Goliath groupers 1 red fish and a limit of

Live bait has been a better choice, but still catching lots of Snook on artificial‘s. Also, in the same area, we are finding the Speckled Sea Trout in large numbers. They are fun fish to catch and good eating too!

    My dad and I were able to squeeze in on a charter with Captain Eric fairly last minute which was awesome! He got us both on some sea trout first thing in the morning, lined us up on some tarpon but before I was able to take any shots on the fly rod, we spooked a tarpon and in came the bull sharks. We buzzed over to a different flat where I had shots at both snook and redfish. I didn’t end up making any of my shots with the fly rod but this was also my first saltwater fly fishing experience as well as my first guided trip so it was all pretty new to me. I’m just stoked we were able to get out in the first place. But I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Captain Eric and I certainly wouldn’t turn down another opportunity to have him guide us! He’s quiet but very focused and knowledgeable about the marine life and was able to give me casting tips as well with the fly rods. Thank you again for squeezing us in Eric!

    I booked a fly fishing trip, for bones, with Capt. Ted. Capt. Ted doesn’t guide fly fishing, so he changed the trip to fishing with his son, Donnie. I believe this was a fail, on the part of captain experiences, since I asked for a fly guide and wasn’t booked with a fly guide. The trip was a disappointment. We seen no bone fish or any game fish except one baby tarpon. I received the “tourist” trip. I will not use your service again. Steven Fey .

    We had an excellent experience fishing with Captain Chad and his mate Ryan. From the moment we got on the boat, they were professional, friendly, and made everyone feel welcome. They worked hard to keep us on the fish, gave great advice, and made the entire trip fun and enjoyable. Captain Chad was knowledgeable and made sure we had a smooth, safe trip, while Ryan was extremely helpful and kept everything running perfectly. Their teamwork and customer service really stood out. If you’re looking for a great fishing charter experience, I highly recommend them. We’ll definitely be booking another trip soon!
