Fishing reports straight from our guides in New Smyrna Beach
The Inlet has been on fire the past couple of weeks, basically every rod that gets wet hooks up. Primarily Bull Reds and Snook, while the mullet run is south of us we still have huge schools of Menhaden and other bait fish species. This action typically lasts through November so get down here and wet a line.

Well, we had a really good week with lots of big trout being caught as well as some really nice red fish Tarpon are cruising in large groups through the ICW and we’re starting to see larger schools of mullet pushing through the river systems. The next couple weeks can be some of the best Fishing of the year with cooler temperature starting to show up and cleaner water coming through the inlet. I have dates available.

The inlet has been red hot with a big school of redfish hanging around. Both slot fish and some bigger fish up in the 40"+ range. I've had a bunch of triple and even quadruple hook ups. There's been a pile of snook too with some big fish in the upper 30" range. They can be more finicky at times. Tarpon and jacks in the area as well. We have had some National Geographic feeding frenzies with schools of mullet the size of a football field getting smashed by these predatory fish.

Also record numbers of reds being caught this morning 4 hr trip we landed 75 red fish

Weather is kinda cooling down...well low 90s instead of upper 90s. Fish are firing off with redfish, snook, flounder and more... like an inshore/river kingfish (king mackerel) get it while the bite is good.

With most of my focus sight fishing and throwing top waters at first light we have mostly been catching Big Trout and Reds. We did get a couple of king fish in the inlet. Lots of Bull Reds in the inlet right now and for the next couple of months.
