Dock light Snook fishing has been awesome. Plenty on Common , Fat & Tarpon Snook feeding on small Shrimp. We did loose a massive Snook this evening to a free standing piling

Whirlwind! Everyday brought different direction of winds the past week. The warmer waters helped keep the fishing consistent.
Snook fishing provided anglers steady action, wether live baiting or using Rapala twitch baits both created drag screaming action. Mangrove shorelines, docks and seawalls great areas to find the linesiders. The past week provided multiple species of snook for anglers common and fat snook most prevalent.
The channels and drop offs have provided steady action for a wide variety of species. Jacks, mackerel, snapper, ladyfish, snook, drum and many other fish being caught. Shrimp, jigs and top water Rapala skitter walks all...

Shrimp, jigs and top water Rapala skitter walks all methods to entice strikes. Anglers had great numbers of fish during outings, many trips averaged 8 or more different species. Always fun when you never know what’s going to strike on the other end of the line.
Well that is the fishing report for the past week hope you all enjoyed. Remember you can’t catch them from the couch, so get out there and get hooked up. Tight Lines!

We went in search of butterfly peacock bass today, and it was a smash fest!! Topwater plugs with live bait mixed in kept us chasing rods and grabbing the net!! Stephan and Steve from Toronto were duly impressed with the power and outright ferocity of the peacock bass today..one of those trips you don't soon forget!!

Mid February is living up to its potential, weak fronts, windy conditions and plenty of sunshine. Florida issues, but for anglers frustration builds as winds due.
Locating Snook! Anglers can target mangroves, docks, seawalls, bridges and other structures for great action. Live baits, DOA C.A.L. 3” shad tail and for fly anglers clousers and deceivers get the strike.
Bottom structure is key when weather conditions get tough for anglers. My groups had great success catching a plethora of species working shrimp and small bucktail jigs near the bottom. Most species caught during our outings the past week was 13 different...

Last week brought very windy conditions for our local waters, cool front passed through bringing 40 knot winds and showers.
Targeting snook was mainly done around leeward points and cuts due to the winds. Smal fish were caught near docks and drops offs. Live baits and DOA Curl tails bait of choice.
Gusty winds made it fun for fly anglers, but that’s when night fishing comes into play. Dock lights and bridges areas to locate snook, tarpon and many other species. Small deciever flies and live baits get the bite.

It's spawn time in Okeechobee, waters high, Okeechobee is fishing small though. The fish are ganged up in certain areas. Good thing is, it's a really picturesque place to fish! Crappie are biting as well... some good ones too, slabs!! The senko bite and chatterbait bites getting hotter by the day for largemouth on okeechobee!! Local canals are doing well, even after the cold snap that caused a fish kill for cichlid species. Bass, peacock bass, and clown knifefish are all biting really well on both live bait and artificials."

January was a wild month hot, cold, windy, calm we experienced it all. So many different conditions led to many different species and situations to target fish. Lots of bent rods and smiles.
Snook fishing was great the past week lots of small fish but an abundance of them along with multiple Spector snook being caught. Mangrove shorelines, docks and bridges all areas holding linesiders. Live baits, Rapala twitch baits and flies all got the snook hooked on the line.

Had a great day with Captain Jose! We fished the Everglades and caught large mouth bass, cichlids, and even a peacock! Thanks Jose you are a great guide, very knowledgeable!
Brad was great captain and provided an awesome trip! He took the time to explain his rigs and allowed me to do more than just reel in the fish. I would not hesitate to go with Brad again
Had a great trip all around, good vibes! Captain Calvin was very knowledgeable and a great guide. Put us on a lot of fish and was very professional. Can’t wait til next time!
Great fishing trip. Took my husband and our two kids ages 11 and 13. Mike was so great with the kids teaching them how to reel in the fish. We caught so many fish! Such a great experience!
