Fishing had been hot up to that hurricane we to west of us. We had a ton of rain and rough seas which really dirtied up the Gulf and bite was pretty tough. Last two days seem to be trending in our favor. Been booking and running trips everyday and into November. Snappers open Fri Sat Sun thru Thanksgiving. I've got the big Sows located and they are hungry!!

Great day on the water! Booked the Bluewater FAD trip and captain Jon worked his tail off to put us on fish despite sea conditions. The pelagic bite was slow, but we managed to put a few Mahi in the boat. Then Jon suggested we pivot to some deep drops for Golden Tilefish to finish the day off - that resulted in 13 tilefish hitting the deck to finish off the day.
