The fishing in the Sarasota area has been great. Whether you are fishing off the beach or in the bay there has been a consistent bite with multiple different species. Off the beaches right now, you can expect to catch a limit of Spanish mackerel along with cobia and King mackerel. The little Tony a.k.a. Bonita is soon to arrive to the party. All of these fish make great table fare and are a blast to catch. On the inshore side of things, the snook and red fish fishing has been on fire. With with plenty of bait around the...

October's off to a great start as our pelagic fish are starting to move south. The bait is plentiful inside the passes and around grass flats . We are consistently catching Cobia, bonita, kingfish and Spanish mackerel at the nearshore reefs using live Pilchards . Covering the entire water Column is key , triple tail are starting to be targeted as the stone crab traps are put out. Typically we run full speed by the stone trap bouys looking for triple tail and then we sight cast to them . October and November are prime triple tail months . Also...

Also this is a great time to target blacktip sharks under the schools of mackeral using cut bait on wire leaders . Inside the bay sea trout, snook and redfish are feeding before winter . Using live Pilchards is key. I typically am out an hour before the charter catching hundreds of live Pilchards giving us a great chance for a non stop fishing adventure.
Summer is slowly coming to an end here in Sarasota, Florida and we are excited to be seeing signs of Fall. Our Trout Fishing has been fantastic in Sarasota Bay along our deeper grass flats with tons of action from other by catch, Jacks, Lady Fish, Mangrove Snapper and Triple Tail. We have also started to find schools of Redfish along our shallower grass flats and mangrove islands. The Snook fishing in Sarasota seems to always be good as our customers have enjoyed catching Snook in both our passes ( New Pass, Big Pass) and along our mangrove islands and...

I took my brother out yesterday for an early morning Topwater lure run. Excellent morning as we caught three redfish on top water and a few snook as well, including a 28 1/2 inch one!

Fall is coming and the fishing continues to get better! The water temps are cooling down and the fish are on the move. Snook, Redfish, SeaTrout, and Mangrove Snapper are everywhere right now and we are having great days of fishing for these guys. Big schools of spawning bull redfish are starting to show themselves on the flats here in Sarasota and one things for sure, they are hungry! Come join us to get on a trip of a lifetime with family or friends.

Fishing has been pretty steady even though we have water temperatures in the high 80s. Today the guest, a non-fisherman, brought in a 32-inch Snook off the flats today! What a great find this time of year. I have also seen plenty of red fish this last week and the speckled sea trout bite is still hot as usual. No live bait needed for the Speckled SeaTrout, as they will hit soft plastics and hard Subsurface Baits as long as you work them correctly.

The inshore bite has been as hot as the temps here in SW Florida. The seatrout bite is crazy good around the grass flats in 3-5 feet of water. Shrimp under a popping cork is the ticket. There have been some quality redfish hanging around the mangrove edges and oyster bars on higher water. Free lined pinfish or pins under a float will work best. Just remember to get out early to beat the heat as the bite has been over around 11 am.

The redfish bite in the back bays of Southwest Florida is starting to pick up and will only get better through the end of October. Plenty of breeder snook can be found in the passes and along the beaches. Bait has been plentiful on the grass flats which is a good place to work artificial lures for trout. Tarpon can still be found but time is running out on the 2022 season.

We had an amazing fishing experience with Captain Paul. We caught fish, and he taught us several fishing techniques. We even saw manatees and a stingray! We had a wonderful time. He also shared a lot of interesting information about the area. He’s super friendly, and we highly recommend him. At the end of our trip, he cleaned and filleted our catch, and we’re looking forward to enjoying it for dinner tonight!
Amazing trip with Captain Bobby. He took us to 4 or 5 different spots, and plenty of fish at each spot. My grandson’s (7 and 10 years old) were fishing for the first time, and Captain Bobby was very patient and helpful with them. The trip exceeded our expectations!
James was very professional & patient. Water conditions were not ideal due to previous day's storms but we had a great time, landed a Snook, & enough Mangrove Snapper for a great evening meal.

Logan was a great captain. Enjoyed his company and his knowledge of the outdoors. Was a pleasure and look forward to using him again in the future. Kona was the real winner today. She was amazing
James was very knowledgeable about the fish we were trying to catch! Really had a great time caught many fish right off the bat. He also cleaned them all so we could est them. Thank you keep up the good work!
