Black Sea Bass have moved in to the closer nearshore ledges and reefs. All of this fishing is done inside of 25mi so no need to stay all day as the 6hr trip is perfect. They're very delicious to eat and you'll have plenty of bycatch between gag groupers, red snappers, triggerfish and other bottom dwellers.

Speckled Trout Fishing Heating Up These past few days on the water has been awsome. The water has cooled down some and the trout are biting. The trips have been getting numbers of 30 and 40 speckled trout with plenty of keepers for the dinner table. Rigging the rods with 10 pound Fins braided line with a slip cork, 20 pound floracarbon leader and a Eagleclaw 1/0 circle sea hook with a live shrimp has been great. The bite has been good on artificial baits too using the Bass Assasson Sea Shad in the lighter colors. There also have been...

Finding the structure such as oyster beds and pilons have been the ticket to getting on these fish
Fishing Report for September 2024 Despite all the rain we had here in Florida the fishing has beeen great. The bull redfish have been on a pretty good feeding frenzy. The action has been good at the jetty and in the Amelia river system. The larger mullet have been found in good numbers, which is has been the bait of choice. The setup has been a 7 foot rod and a 6500 Penn reel or a 6000 Florida Fishing Products reel loaded with 65 lb Fins braid. A 4 foot 60 lb leader with a 7/0 Kahle hook. Cut the...

Cut the mullet in chunks and we are fishing in 18 to 30 feet of water. The speckled trout are also hitting good. If you can find the finger mullet it has been doing well or live shrimp on a cork setup has worked well. We are also getting some nice flounder on our trips.

It was a good day with Brian! He took us to lots of spots with lots of fish. And he was especially helpful in re-baiting hooks and giving instruction on how to best use the gear and tackle.
Scheduled a trip and a storm was blowing in on the day of the trip and Captain James reached out and rescheduled with a day that worked perfect for my family. On the new day it was really choppy and we thought we was just going to have to fish close to shore but then it calmed down and we got to go out deep. Very first fish we caught was a sail fin fish I always dreamed of catching then we caught 2 barricade and a king fish. We hooked what looked like a great white shark that we fought for over 2 hours and it jumped out of the water and broke the line but it was huge biggest shark I ever seen in person and I live in Florida! Overall the trip was a great day with an experienced and friendly Captain and Mate that even helped our 8 year old fight t he shark for 15 minutes building a memory he would never forget! I will book all future trips with Captain James Walker. Great Captain and great man I could not have asked for anyone better than him and his first mate (his son also). If you want a memorable trip tell them what you want and they will do thier best to make it happen! Thank you Captain James for some awesome memories!
Legit 5 Stars. Billy’s knowledge of the area was second to none and he took time to educate us on the process from baiting to reeling in. We averaged a shark about every 20 minutes. He also was extremely patient working with my younger son. Will definitely come back!
Captain Kenny was fantastic. He took us out for a trip of a lifetime. My boys had so much fun. Captain Kenny was extremely knowledgeable and fun to fish with. I highly recommend him!
This was the absolute best charter we have ever taken! You need to book with Captain Kenny and his first mate Matt. Captain Kenny’s knowledge, skill and experience as a competitive angler were invaluable! He and Matt were also extremely helpful and instructive so you were cared for that no matter what your skill level! We are already looking to book our next trip with Captain Kenny!
