Big fish are being caught daily and the early morning trips are key to the success. The afternoon trips are tougher as the dog days of summer have set in.

Fishing remains strong in NE Illinois. Limits of coho salmon and lake trout going home daily with our groups. As the summer warms up, the fish are getting bigger and the king salmon will start to show up soon!

Fishing has been fantastic with limits being caught on every trip the last 2 weeks. The coho salmon run is in full swing and will last for the next few weeks. We are also starting to see spring King Salmon and Rainbow Trout sprinkle into the mix. We are fishing close to shore so short run times and fast limits are making for very productive and fun outings.

Fishing on the Fox Chain of Lakes. Has been lights out, while the bite windows are short the right time, the fishing is phenomenal. Ice conditions very great ly so we have safe access and we are totally open for the season

Yellow bass bite is as hot as fire! But unfortunately ice in Illinois is gone. That means we have wading trips! Excited to start jacking small mouths with fly rods and conventional gear.

Our ice fishing experience with Trevor was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we stepped onto the ice, he was unbelievable with my kids—patient, fun, and completely dialed in to keeping them engaged. He told great stories, taught them about fishing in a way they could understand, and somehow managed to keep everyone warm and smiling the entire time. Trevor’s knowledge was obvious, but what really stood out was his kindness and the way he made the entire experience feel effortless and enjoyable. It felt less like a guided trip and more like spending the day with someone who genuinely loves what he does and wants your family to love it too. Absolutely fantastic trip with Shane. He explained everything we needed to know and set expectations before the trip and was easy to find when we got there. Super knowledgable, patient, and fun, his boat was clean and he was extremely efficient. Learned a lot, got on some major trout and salmon action, and had a blast.
