Things are warming up here at Wrightsville beach and wilmingtonmaria. Some spring bluefish have arrived but still catching a mixed bag of speckle drought and flounder. Anglers can expect the arrival of the Atlantic Bonita to come storming on to our beach fronts. Allowing anglers a nice spring kickoff to have their string pulled and their drag Squealed. The spanish mackerel should be right behind them. All insurance fishing should improve greatly in the next couple weeks with rising water temperatures.

Weather's been fair and when we can get out the sea bass fishing has been outstanding. Limit out in an hour. All bigger than average fish.

Black drum bite has been hot lately also catching some red drum mixed in with black drum. Sea mullet is also starting to pick up.

Weather has been pretty good for the most part, super clear water, really fun to sight fish, chasing reds in shallows, and bottom fishing jetty's for black drum and sheepshead. March should be great!

Catfishing has been very good drifting with cut bait. We are starting to get ready to start doing striper fishing casting jigs and don't forget the phenomenal shad fishery that will be coming up here in the next month will be excellent this year with big numbers with the river being high from all the rain we have received
