Spring fishing is in full swing. That usually means great weather and hit or miss catching. We have been throwing a variety of lures and live shrimp. Most days we are catching fish, although not always full limits.

Fishing is slow because of the weather as soon as the weather settles down the fish will start feeding again. Remember this is the winter months. If you find the bait jumping you need to fish that area. The best time to fish is on an incoming tide. Stay safe and warm

Fishing has been great i between fronts. The upper Galveston Bay is good for trout and redfish using lures and live shrimp. The Galveston jetties holding lots of oversize redfish using dead bait on the bottom. West Galveston bay wade fisherman catching some trout and redfish on Lures. Overall all fishing is good.

Fishing has been getting better and better with the water temperatures coming down after summer. Good numbers of Redfish, Trout, Flounder, Eating sized Black Drum, and even Sheepshead have been coming in. We have been fishing both Upper Galveston Bay and West Galveston Bay.
