Fishing has been good, lure under a cork seem to be doing the trick right now as well as shrimp under the cork. We've been seeing more numbers of redfish and it's been great!

Fishing has been Fantasic targeting the trout bite in the mornings. Majority of my clients a taking trout limits home if not limits pretty close to it. Redfish has been hit or miss recently. Fishing for flounder has been good in some spots with live shrimp and jigging a curly tail soft plastic around pilings near the channel drop offs. Reds and Trout are good drifting the sandy water on windy days using a popping cork with live shrimp. On days with calm winds reds can be caught in green water with top waters and soft plastics.

Well the trout fishing has been on fire with limits in the mornings being caught fairly early. Red fish has been a little spotty but the black drum have been good in the afternoons in South Bay. We've also been hitting flounder on the sand bars on shrimp and some artificial. Fishing is going to get better and better as we transition into the fall months from September through November.

Fishing has been spectacular! Flounder are being caught on the intracoastal. Slot reds being caught in dirty water on cut bait and artificials. The trout bite is on fire in the early morning and late evening on live shrimp and popping corks. Drums excellent on dead shrimp on out going tides.

August has arrived signifying the heat is still on and this tends to be the hottest month for South Florida. If you can’t beat the heat, at least beat the fish in a tug of war match.
Windy conditions for the local palm beaches continued until the end of this past weekend, finally giving anglers a reprieve from turbulent conditions.
Snook fishing has been excellent along channel edges, docks, and sea walls. Moving water equals hungry fish. Live baits and DOA C.A.L. 3" shad tail have been the baits of choice. Snook are ranging in size from 2 to 25...

Snook fishing has been excellent along channel edges, docks, and sea walls. Moving water equals hungry fish. Live baits and DOA C.A.L. 3" shad tail have been the baits of choice. Snook are ranging in size from 2 to 25
pounds.
Tarpon fishing has been hit and miss past week. I believe slower bite contributed to south wind and dirty water. Incoming tide cleaner water fish seemed to be happier taking live baits and DOA Terror Eyz worked along the bottom.
Deep holes and channel edges still offering jacks, bluefish, mackerel, snapper, sharks and many other species. Live baits great way to get fish fired up, but top water Rapala skitter walks and DOA C.A.L. 3" shad tail also trigger strikes.

Offshore fishing during federal red snapper season, anglers forget about state red snapper reefs and they are really producing now since everyone focus on federal waters.

Our day with Cliff was great. Our group was two dads with 2 seven year olds. The kids had the best time. They each caught a few fish and he was incredibly patient and kind with them as they learned. We will be back.
