If you’ve never been fishing in South Padre Island before, then you’re missing out! And if you’re looking for a knowledgeable charter captain to take you out, Captain Arturo is a great choice.

Test your angling skills and chase Redfish, Black Drum, Flounder, Sheepshead, and Speckled Trout on your 5 or 8-hour excursion through the Lower Laguna Madre.

Captain Arturo will provide you with quality rods, reels, bait and tackle as well as bottled water and Gatorade. But you are more than welcome to bring your own snacks and drinks. Make sure you bring a valid Texas Fishing License with a saltwater stamp as well as some snacks of your choice.

You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 7 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 7 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Great guide! We had a wonderful time, nearly limited out. Arturo moved us to a few different spots, ended up on the edge of a channel on a pretty hot spot. Caught a lot of near keepers and a few extra species as well. Great trip, a lot of fun and will definitely use Arturo again!

Great trip; one of the best days out on the water for us.

Really experienced Captain, knows some really good spots.

Wonderfull with my two boys, he made sure they had the best time!

Got us on the fish quickly and then took us dolphin watching for a nice break that the Kids really enjoyed.

The Captain Experiences’ process was seamless and very easy to coordinate with.

Pick up was conveniently located at Jim’s Pier and Painted Marlin Restaurant on the Island.

Captain Arturo got all 4 people in our crew on some big redfish. My 6 year old son caught a big red and 9 catfish. A great experience for a first timer.
