Early morning fishing has been on fire a mix of everything speckled trout, redfish, flounder, and a few snook on artificials. Live shrimp has been scarce when available large numbers of black drum being caught on the icw. Fall Fishing is in full swing on South Padre Island. Rarely do I say this, but Fishing for all species has been unbelievable save for Tarpon off the beachfront which will likely push further south with the passing of today's cold front. If you have ever thought about making a trip down to this area, now is the time.
