Fish catching is really good! We're fishing areas that are protected from the winds. Drifting over scattered shell and sand/mud mix. Water depth 3-5 feet adjacent to deeper water. As long as it stays dry above the watershed of Galveston bay, the bite will continue to be good. We're using...

Fish catching is really good! We're fishing areas that are protected from the winds. Drifting over scattered shell and sand/mud mix. Water depth 3-5 feet adjacent to deeper water. As long as it stays dry above the watershed of Galveston bay, the bite will continue to be good. We're using live shrimp under popping corks but at times you can catch them on lures.

Fishing is hot in trinity bay. Red, trout, & drum by the hundreds. Mostly small with keepers blended in. Bigger reds are showing up for the fall run. Bait of choice fresh dead shrimp on popping cork.
