About Your Trip

Spend the day fishing the productive waters of Clear Lake, Kemah, and the surrounding Galveston Bay system with Captain Carrie and the team. These trips are designed for anglers of all ages and skill levels, whether you’re introducing the family to fishing, getting together with friends, or chasing the Texas coast’s most popular inshore species.

Fishing takes place throughout the Clear Lake and Galveston Bay area targeting the Texas “Big Three” — Speckled Trout, Redfish, and Flounder — with opportunities at Black Drum, Blacktip Sharks, Sheepshead, and other seasonal species depending on conditions and time of year.

Trips may involve a mix of live bait fishing, artificial lure fishing, and light tackle techniques while fishing marshes, shorelines, docks, channels, reefs, and nearby bay structure throughout the area.

You’ll fish aboard one of several fully equipped bay boats designed for navigating the shallow inshore waters around Kemah and Clear Lake. Each boat comfortably accommodates up to 4 anglers, with limited accommodations available for groups of 5 with advance notice. For larger parties, multi-boat trips can easily be coordinated.

All boats are equipped with live bait wells, trolling motors, and the gear needed for a productive day on the water. All rods, reels, bait, tackle, and fishing equipment are included with the trip — guests simply need to bring drinks, snacks, and a valid Texas saltwater fishing license.

For added convenience, pickups can be arranged at Schaefer’s Coastal Bar & Grill in Clear Lake Shores or at other waterfront restaurants and hotels throughout the Clear Lake and Kemah area.

Whether you’re looking for a laid-back day on the bay, introducing someone to fishing for the first time, or chasing a cooler full of Texas inshore fish, Captain Carrie and the team focus on creating a relaxed, enjoyable, and memorable experience on the water.

This trip is managed by an outfitter. Carrie will be your point of contact and you will go out with one of their guides.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Each trip's price is determined by the guide and reflects all associated costs. A significant factor in pricing is often the type of boat and the corresponding fuel expenses. Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
