Inshore in the charleston area the redfishing has been incredible. This month you can expect to catch reds and seatrout.
The good quality sized sea trout should show up by the end of October.
Along the beaches the big bull redfish should be making their presence known in big numbers s the water Temps begin to cool down. But currently if you want to go fishing, the Inshore bite has been great, with lots of big redfish being caught Inshore! We had an amazing 3-hour inshore fishing trip Easter morning with Captain Carlos! From start to finish, he was punctual, communicative, and incredibly accommodating, keeping us informed with helpful texts and making everything easy. It was just me, my 32-year-old son, and my 18-year-old daughter, and he truly made the experience special for each of us. He was patient, energetic, and so friendly, never once showing frustration, just making sure we were all having a great time. It was a perfect outing, and we couldn’t have asked for a better captain. Trip: (4hr) Inshore Seatrout/Redfish

This was the highlight of our trip to Charleston! Family of four with a 16 year old daughter and 13 year old son who both love to fish. We booked a 3 hour morning excursion. Carlo communicated with me thru the days leading up to make sure we knew what to bring, where to park, restroom situation, etc. He was all ready for us and we had the BEST trip! He has a great boat, awesome gear, was ready with bait for us, taught us how to cast (and did it for us if we needed a precision cast!), and is an all-around great guy to fish with! He has such great stories, which made the morning so fun and interesting. We all caught several different types of fish, we all caught one stingray (so cool!) and even a blue crab trying to rip off shrimp bait! The experience was worth every penny and my only regret was not booking Carlo for a longer fishing trip. Really, if you think you want to take a fishing charter, book Carlo and you will NOT be disappointed! 12/10 stars Thanks again, Carlo!!

Simply could not have had a more fun and enjoyable morning on the water than we did with Captain Carlo!!! He knew the right spots, and over 4 hours our party of 5 caught more than 30 fish representative of almost 10 different species, including an couple of really fun bonnett head shark fights (we caught 4 sharks without trying to catch sharks). A great introduction to fishing for my first-timer son (7 years old) and a great time for his cousins (age 13 and 17) and me and my brother-in-law. I can't recommend Capt. Carlo strongly enough. I'll definitely be booking with him next time we are back in Charleston. Thanks to Captain Experiences for making the whole process so simple and effective. A+++++++
