Fishing has not slowed down! The Redfish, Trout, Drum, and Sheephead bite has been great". His pics sent small over text, so I asked if he could email them to us so they're better quality. I'll let you know once he emails them in!

The Galveston jetties lots of sharks, sheep heads, a few trout and redfish. Upper Galveston Bay water is around 87 degrees need to fish deep for fish. West bay good for specks with live croakers. Overall fishing is fair.

In this weeks fishing report, we have a tale that will make you reel with laughter! The weather was scorching hot, and so were the catches out on the water. Offshore, the red snapper were putting on quite the show, flaunting their vibrant colors.
Meanwhile, inshore, the big black drum were strutting their stuff like they were auditioning for a fishy fashion show. These drummers had rhythm, and they weren't afraid to shake their tail fins to the beat of the ocean.

Meanwhile, inshore, the big black drum were strutting their stuff like they were auditioning for a fishy fashion show. These drummers had rhythm, and they weren't afraid to shake their tail fins to the beat of the ocean.
But wait, the excitement didn't stop there. Sharks were crashing the party, doing their
best impersonation of Jaws. They were the ultimate party crashers. It was a real-life thriller, and the fishermen couldn't help but hum the iconic "dun-dun" theme song as they reeled in their lines.
And let's not forget about the stingrays, the underwater pranksters of the sea. They were like stealthy ninjas, sneaking up on unsuspecting anglers and giving them a shocking surprise.
So, if you're looking for an adventure on the water. From diva snappers to dancing drummers, from shark scares to stingrays , it's a show that Mother Nature herself would applaud. Just remember to bring your sense of humor, and sunblock because you never know what surprises await you beneath the waves!

The Southwest winds is hurting the fishing. It's keep the tide to low. We still managed to catch a few trout and redfish using live shrimp or croakers fishing on the bottom near deep water. The Galveston jetties still got a lot of small sharks on cut bait. The best place to fish is Ali the Houston Ship Channel. The water temperature is 87 degrees. The heat index is around 110 degrees. So be very careful drink a lot of water. Fish early or late. Maybe try night fishing. Captain Mike

Capt. Tim put us on fish right off the bat. The boat was a great rig. The cold front had slowed things down a little bit this guy just wouldn’t give up. We will definitely look him up next chance we get. Tim is your guy if you’re considering a gigging trip.
