The backwater is holding lots of redfish, some trout and some large sheepsheads. We’re using live shrimp fishing 4 to 6 feet deep along rocks. Spring Break is right around the corner, it’s time to get your kids outdoors!

The weather is a big factor the last few weeks, to windy, to much run off from rain. Now the tornado and high winds slow fishing down. I did go one day for redfish in the back water using live bait. Best bet is to fish the North Galveston Jetties...

The weather is a big factor the last few weeks, to windy, to much run off from rain. Now the tornado and high winds slow fishing down. I did go one day for redfish in the back water using live bait. Best bet is to fish the North Galveston Jetties fishing by the boat cut using live bait. This time of the year is always slow. But it is time to book for Spring Break.
