Captain Rick always wanted to run a small charter business, so he and his family decided to start one. Captain Rick has been leading folks on trips for over 10 years and hopes to continue for years to come!
Captain Rick enjoys throwing lures in the Bay, and he believes that the weather conditions and targeted fish determine what style he'll use. Our party of four had a really good time bay fishing with Rick. He’s a lot of fun and is very knowledgeable about the waters in the area. We caught a variety of fish which he cleaned and filleted for us. We’d love to take an offshore trip with him!

Captian Experiences organized a morning fishing trip for myself, my son, and my grandson Father’s Day. The staff was very polite and informative in preparation of our trip. The trip didn’t work out as planned, but we did get out on the water with a good, experienced Captian that put us on fish. The day worked out and we had fun. Once the staff at Captian Experiences found out about the issues that caused the trip to “not be as expected”, they went out of their way to make things right. The trip was great. We booked a 3 person trip with Capt Rick but we went fishing with Capt Doug. It was windy that day so the water was choppy, but we still cause 2 bill redfish about 36 inches each and a black drum about 30 inches around the Galvenston Jetties. We will definitely book another trip when we renew the fishing licenses and get new red drum tags. …
