About Your Trip

Hit the water with this memorable fishing experience off the coast of Galveston. There are lots of locations you can visit along this 6-hour (3/4-day) or 8-hour (full day) excursion, and Captain Rick will make sure you find fish wherever you go, including flounder and black drum.

Don't worry about bringing any fishing gear because everything will be waiting for you on the boat. Captain Rick will provide all Shimano reels, including TLD 25s, 50s, a set of Shimano Nexave 6000s, as well as small open-face spinning reels for smaller fish. At the end of your trip, the captain will even clean and fillet your catch, free of charge. The only things you need are licenses and some food or drinks.

We recommend you pack some snacks and drinks! Fishing Rods and Reels, Tackle & Bait, Ice included.
You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.
We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).
The deposit for this trip is non-refundable except for weather-related cancellations. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.
In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

The trip was great. We booked a 3 person trip with Capt Rick but we went fishing with Capt Doug. It was windy that day so the water was choppy, but we still cause 2 bill redfish about 36 inches each and a black drum about 30 inches around the Galvenston Jetties. We will definitely book another trip when we renew the fishing licenses and get new red drum tags.

Great trip. Rick was awesome and worked with both of my kids to make sure they had a good time. We landed some keeper and then went shark hunting which was a blast to fight such a powerful fish. I would recommend Rick as a guide.
