Well we had some crazy wind directions but with all that said the fishing has been great!
Flounder and Reds are biting great on shrimp under popping cork,free lining and double rigs with pink curly tail gulp!

Fishing is red hot the upper end of Galveston bay. Lots of trout on live shrimp along with some redfish. West bay is a little slow because of the windy days. Galveston jetties still holding some nice sheep heads and some bull reds on live shrimp. East bay is good for trout under birds. Over all the water is around 65 degrees. After this weekend the fishing should be great. Be safe have fun.

Awesome weather has been the norm for the last few weeks. Light winds and cool temps have provided pleasant fishing conditions. The next couple of months should be excellent fishing on Galveston bay. Falling temps should trigger the shrimp to leave the marshes. This will provide good opportunities to catch fish in Galveston bay.

I reserved the Galveston Bay/Jetty Trip with Captain Kenny for my husband and stepson for Father's Day. They had an amazing time and said it was definitely a top 10 experience! My husband told me he learned more in 6 hours with Kenny than he had in the 40 years he's been fishing. Kenny's expertise, skill, and kindness made the day really fun them, and they loved zooming around in the boat. Bonus points for recommending taking the fish to Huli Huli Hut so that we could eat what the boys caught that day. So good! We will come back for another fishing trip next year :)

Shawn was absolutely amazing! I took my two kiddos out, 10 and 11 years old, and he made sure they caught ALL the fish! My daughter put us all to shame, I lost count of how many she caught. It was a windy day but Jonathan took us right to a honey-hole out of the wind. The rods and reels were ready to go and easy to use. We caught fish all day long and came home with a nice haul which Jonathan cleaned and bagged for us. He even directed us to a local restaurant that cooked up a few of our fresh filets for dinner. It was a great day from beginning to end!
